Teacher & Leader Effectiveness SystemThe new Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES) consists of multiple components, including the Teacher Assessment on Performance Standards (TAPS), Surveys of Instructional Practice and measures of Student Growth and Academic Achievement. The overarching goal of TKES is to support continuous growth and development of each teacher.
Upcoming EventsApril Roster Verification
April 11-22 The roster(s) teachers have, for the March FTE count, are the ones they will verify, in the TKES platform, as correct or incorrect during the April Roster Verification period. Formative Phase 2 January 6-May 4 Walk-through evaluations do not require a signature. The dates for Formative Assessments will be announced. Summative Assessment The Summative Assessment must include a rating of all 10 standards. Survey Data Commentary must be included on the Summative Assessment for standards 3, 4, 7 and 8. Summative Conference An individual summative conference is required for each certified staff member evaluated through the TKES and LKES process. Platform Deadline May 4 All Walkthroughs, Formative Assessments, Summative Assessments and Conferences should be complete. |
